EOR or your own Thai entity?

An EOR is the faster start for first hires and market tests: there is no company to register and nothing to wind down if plans change.

Your own entity tends to pay off as headcount and commitment grow, and you need one to sign local contracts, hold licences or get BOI promotion. Many companies start on EOR and move employees to their own entity later.
